We will work with all of our personal and small business customers who may be experiencing financial hardship due to COVID-19. You can submit a payment relief request or extend your current relief period directly online.

If you want to learn more about available options before you decide, read our latest FAQs below.

How to submit a new relief request:

Log on to Online banking (faster):

- Log on at hsbc.ca and select the ‘Banking’ menu at the top > My accounts 

- To submit a new request, choose ‘Payment relief request’

If you don’t use Online banking: 

- Complete the payment relief request form 

- After we get your request, we’ll call you to confirm your information before processing

 

If you've previously submitted a request and already received a call from us, you don’t need to re-submit your request.

How to extend your current relief period:

Log on to Online banking (faster): 

- Log on at hsbc.ca and select the ‘Banking’ menu at the top > My accounts 

- To submit a new request, choose ‘Payment relief extension’

If you don’t use Online banking: 

- Complete the payment relief extension form 

- After we get your request, we’ll call you to confirm your information before processing

 

If you've already received a call from us, you don’t need to re-submit your request.
